of really busy people

Dailysqueezer keeps your tasks under control so you can spend less time managing them and more actually getting them done

Introducing task states…

All tasks are born different. Some are quite simple. Others require you to work on them for days and days. And for some you will need to involve other people to get them done, or maybe wait for external events or other tasks to complete first. Dailysqueezer is the only personal task manager that allows you specify the real situation of your tasks, and then uses this information to help you manage them so you can focus on what really matters: getting them done.

What should I do next?

This is personal productivity’s most fundamental question, and one we all ask ourselves multiple times every day. Current productivity tools just don’t help. It’s up to each one of us to organize, prioritize and go throughout all our tasks once and again each time we want to decide our next action.

That’s why we built the Squeezer view at the heart of Dailysqueezer. It displays your actionable tasks arranged automatically by their state and due date, showing you at a glance what you should be working on today, this week or the next. Imagine how a feature like this can boost your productivity.

Tame your backlog

Almost everyone who has used a to-do manager has experienced the Ever-growing Backlog Syndrome: your lists get bigger and bigger no matter how hard you work on them. This reflects the fact that it is much easier to get stuff into our lists than out of them.

However, research shows us that idle tasks —those that remain untouched on your lists for two or more weeks— are very likely to become irrelevant for you. Dailysqueezer makes it really easy to spot and filter these stagnant tasks so you can decide if you should keep them or let them go. Using this feature regularly will keep your backlog’s size under control.

Work with just anyone

Let’s face it, unless you work in a huge company (and even so) it’s highly improbable that the people you need to work with will use the same productivity tools as you. However, wouldn’t it be convenient if other people could update your tasks directly in your tool, without the burden of creating an account or having to register for it?

Dailysqueezer lets you engage and collaborate with anyone, even those that are not Dailysqueezer users. Just delegate a task to someone, and she/he will get an email with a link to the task’s wall, a web page where she/he can update your task. And you’ll get notifications of any changes, so you can keep an eye on things.

Start with the familiar to-do view

Create your tasks from the To-do view which works essentially the same way as any other To-do list tool you have used before. Organize your tasks into lists. This view is also the best place to process (i.e. decide what to do) with your tasks.

Also suitable for:
GTD
: Collect, Process, Organize
ZTD: Collect, Process, Organize

Choose the task’s state

Pick a state from the list that reflects best the situation of your task or what you decided to do with it. Apart from new and done, you got four different actionable states and another four non-actionable ones. This step is key to get the most out of Dailysqueezer.

Also suitable for:
GTD
: Process
ZTD: Process, Plan (set goals)

Plan your day and decide what to do next

Start your day from the Squeezer view. Get a view of your day’s workload and make the adjustments you need. Then come back as frequently as needed each time you need to decide what to do next.

Also suitable for:
GTD
: Do
ZTD: Plan (daily), Do

Plan your week and review your performance

Plan your week using the Calendar Week view. Use the Calendar Month view to review your accomplishments and performance.

Also suitable for:
GTD
: Review
ZTD: Plan (Week), Review

Get further insight about your tasks

Kind of like a kanban board, the Progress view groups your tasks by state so you can easily keep an eye on your blocked or delegated tasks. Likewise you can see all your top or week goals. It’s like making Wunderlist and Trello work together.

Also suitable for:
GTD
: Review
ZTD: Review, Simplify

Features that make managing your tasks easier

Email into tasks & lists

Forward any email to Dailysqueezer to make it a task in your inbox.

Email a list of items to add them as new tasks to an existing list or create a new one. That simple.

Smooth out your agenda

We have rethought even something as established as date-pickers. Each time you need to pick a date in Dailysqueezer, you’ll be able to see in our date-picker how busy your days are like in a heat map, so you can easily balance out your agenda.

Support for ZTD and GTD

Dailysqueezer is the only tool that implements ZTD (Zen to Done) out of the box. No need to come up with elaborated workflows or schemes to make it work like with other tools. It also supports GTD (Getting Things Done®) and other productivity methods based on task management.
